It’s September, and we are about 3 months from launching our first game. The excitement is real, even as everyone is crushed under work as we try to make a Christmas deadline. We are working on “Bellumentum”, which is a battle-chess game which we conceived of several years ago and have always wanted to build. We are rapidly learning the tremendous design, art, and animation load there is in building a game. While Unity has made engineering a heck of a lot easier for game building, there is no way to shortcut the creative processes.
